International collaboration

Building relationships with key international research partners across AHURI’s three research streams —housing, homelessness and cities— is an integral feature of the activities of AHURI and a key initiative of our Strategic Plan 2009–2018.

The issues and challenges in housing know no geographical boundaries and these research partnerships will provide the international comparative analysis which is so valuable to policy development, and help build capacity to respond to the increasing breadth of issues facing future generations worldwide.

AHURI seeks to develop international collaborations in a range of research activities including undertaking research projects as well as disseminating research findings in ways that will support policy development and practice change.
