National Housing Research Program

Through our National Housing Research Program, AHURI Limited currently invests around $4 million annually in high quality policy-oriented housing research and associated activities.

We manage the National Housing Research Program on behalf of Australian Governments, with funding received from three sources: grants from the Australian Government and state and territory governments, contributions from AHURI’s university partners and third parties.

AHURI Limited is purposefully structured to support the delivery of high quality research funded through the National Housing Research Program and to actively transfer it into policy development and practice change. We broker engagement between policy-makers, key stakeholders and researchers, which allows us to undertake research that is immediately relevant and actively contributes to national housing policy development.

Once research is complete, we ensure findings are actively disseminated through a variety of mechanisms, including our peer reviewed report series, events and conferences program, website, and our series of Evidence Reviews.
