Commonwealth State Housing Agreement Consultations

In April 2002 the Commonwealth Minister for Family and Community Services and State and Territory Housing Ministers agreed to proceed towards a new Commonwealth State Housing Agreement (CSHA) to operate from July 2003. Ministers asked housing officials to develop options for a new agreement for further consideration by them and by Governments later that year.

To assist with this process, the Housing Ministers also asked AHURI to conduct discussions during June and July 2002 with key stakeholders in all jurisdictions, as a means of obtaining broader views on the shape and content of the next agreement.
