AHURI CONFERENCE SPEAKER
Professor Paul Flatau is the Director of the Centre for Social Impact at the University of Western Australia (CSI UWA) and the Director of the UWA AHURI Research Centre.
Paul has over 100 publications covering a broad range of fields including labour economics, the history of economic thought, housing and homelessness, the economics of social policy and the measurement of social outcomes.
In recent years, Paul has made significant contribution to housing and homelessness research in Australia.
His research in housing and homelessness covers topics such as Indigenous housing, housing and poverty, intergenerational homelessness, homelessness and service integration, the costs of homelessness, the cost-effectiveness of homelessness programs, youth homelessness, refugees and homelessness, and the financing of homelessness services.
