Urban Research Monitor
The Urban Research Monitor cites recent acquisitions to HUD USER's Bibliographic Database, which contains information on more than 8,000 reports, articles, books, and case studies from both public and private sources on topics related to housing and community development.

Joseph Rowntree Foundation
The Joseph Rowntree Foundation is one of the largest social policy research and development charities in the UK, spending about £7 million a year on a research and development program that seeks to better understand the causes of social difficulties and explore ways of overcoming them.

United Kingdom Economic and Social Research Council
The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funds research and training in social and economic issues. It is an independent organisation, however receives most of its funding through the Government's Office of Science and Innovation . The ESRC finances over 2,500 researchers in academic institutions and policy research institutes throughout the UK, and supports more than 2,000 postgraduate students.

Scottish Executive Social Research Unit
The Social Research Unit aims to provide high quality research-based evidence and advice for Ministers and officials to inform policy development, implementation and evaluation.

Office of the UK Deputy Prime Minister (housing policy, research and statistics)
The web page for the Department of Communities and Local Government, Office of the UK Deputy Prime Minister, contains information on issues such as neighbourhood renewal, planning, social exclusion, sustainable communities, and urban policy. It also provides links to relevant housing statistics and reseach.

European Network for Housing Research
The European Network is composed of researchers from a variety of social science disciplines dealing with housing and urban issues. In addition to its basic goal of supporting research, the Network also seeks to promote contacts and communications between researchers and practitioners within the housing field.

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
The OECD groups 30 member countries sharing a commitment to democratic government and the market economy. With active relationships with some 70 other countries , NGOs and civil society , it has a global reach. Best known for its publications and its statistics , its work covers economic and social issues from macroeconomics , to trade , education , development and science and innovation .

United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO)
UNESCO functions as a laboratory of ideas and a standard-setter to forge universal agreements on emerging ethical issues. The Organization also serves as a clearinghouse – for the dissemination and sharing of information and knowledge – while helping Member States to build their human and institutional capacities in diverse fields.

Centre for Housing Research, Aotearoa New Zealand (CHRANZ)
The Centre for Housing Research, Aotearoa New Zealand - Kainga Tipu (CHRANZ) is committed to investing in and promoting housing research that provides an evidence base for policies and practices that meet New Zealand's housing needs.

Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research
In its first fifteen years, the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research has attracted over £10M in external research grants, carrying out over 100 research projects for a variety of sponsors, ranging from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Welsh Assembly Government, the Housing Corporation, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, and a wide range of other bodies including the Regional Assemblies, local authorities and housing associations. Many of the Centre’s major projects are carried out in collaboration with other leading academic institutions, mainly the Universities of Glasgow, York, Sheffield and Bristol.
