Description

Residential mobility has implications for housing submarkets and so is an important issue for housing policy makers to consider. Policies to influence residential mobility (such as the US Moving to Opportunity program) may also be a way by which governments can achieve broader social goals.

This essay considers what contemporary mobility research might say for housing and housing policy in Australia.
