Summary
This report, authored by Christine Black and Dr Hellene Gronda for AHURI’s Research Synthesis Service, was commissioned by Queensland Department of Communities to inform the development of their specialist homelessness service system.
It provides evidence about current access arrangements to homelessness services, the complex and multiple access barriers faced by people experiencing homelessness, and an overview of the different approaches, models and mechanisms used in Australia and internationally to improve access.
