Description: The research concludes that 'common housing registers', 'choice-based lettings' and 'local allocations policies' represent different paradigms of social housing reform (welfarist, consumer choice, sustaining communities). Despite their widespread introduction overseas only the outcomes of choice based lettings are known and these are positive.
