We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Finance Assistant

Position status
This is an ongoing, part-time position (0.6 FTE).

$65,000 (including superannuation) pro rata.

Melbourne CBD

The position

Reporting to the Business Manager, the primary responsibilities of the position include: processing accounts payable invoices, processing corporate credit card purchases, monitoring AHURl bank transactions, assisting with general ledger reconciliations, assistance with routine HR and IT tasks and filing of accounting and related documents.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of two years' experience in accounting and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. A demonstrated ability to work independently with accounting systems to deliver the required outcomes (i.e., MYOB, Greentree) is also required.

The successful applicant will have highly developed time management skills, ability to take direction, capacity to communicate clearly with external agencies, and willingness to work as a member of a team in a cooperative and collegial manner.
