Dr Christian Roggenbuck
Christian is a research specialist with experience in community engagement, housing and social planning.
His research interests focus on the relationship between people and places in the fields of human geography, migration studies and urban development.
Christian has expertise in conducting research projects locally and internationally from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Prior to joining AHURI, Christian successfully completed his PhD investigating the experiences of migrants living in urban growth areas.
At RMIT University he taught postgraduate courses in sustainability and urban planning and worked on ARC-funded research on high-density living.
As a member of AHURI's professional services team, Christian is responsible for the evaluation of policies and programs, facilitating primary research and developing AHURI’s strategic goal of informing and influencing cities.
