AHURI launches Cities Research Agenda
AHURI is pleased to announce the launch of its Cities Research Agenda featuring five inaugural research projects. The Agenda was formulated with input from a range of commonwealth and state infrastructure agencies and departments, and relevant industry peaks.
Celebrating 20 years of AHURI
2019 marks 20 years of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) Limited. In 1999, joint funding commitments from the Australian and all state and territory governments established the National Housing Research Program and AHURI Limited – the independent, not-for-profit company at the centre of AHURI’s national network of policy makers, university and industry partners.
New report examines the existing evidence on housing and mental health pathways
AHURI and Mind Australia are pleased to release first report from a national study into the housing and mental health pathways of people with lived experience of mental ill-health. This report gathers existing evidence from both local and international sources, and analyses mental health and housing programs and models; policy levers and system level drivers relating to housing, mental health and homelessness.
Research Agenda 2020 announced
AHURI has released the research topics for the 2020 National Housing Research Program (NHRP) agenda which will contribute to the growing evidence-base in the housing, homelessness, cities, urban policy fields.
