National Homelessness Conference

Monday 8 – Wednesday 10 August 2022

AHURI, in partnership with Homelessness Australia will convene the National Homelessness Conference 2022 as a hybrid event -  held simultaneously in Canberra and online from 8 - 10 August 2022.

The conference will be attended by delegates from across the homelessness sector and the key focus will be on policy and practice and how we can collaborate and commit to ending homelessness at a national, state and local level. The program will combine international expertise, the latest research and feature best-practice in homelessness service provision from across the country.

Registrations will open in due course, however you can sign up to our mailing list to ensure you don't miss any announcements.

The 2020 Conference was held virtually under the theme 'The year that changed homelessness' and examined the homelessness impacts from the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic as well as the catastrophic climate disasters of 2019/2020. The program also covered the major challenges and opportunities in homelessness policy and practice that were in play before and will continue to be important after the pandemic.

Recordings of the conference plenary sessions can be viewed at AHURI's YouTube channel.
