Haleh’s career in housing spans over 27 years and includes senior and leadership positions in both the government and community sectors. Haleh’s work in recent years has been expressed in two spheres:
- Within Australia, addressing homelessness and housing affordability;
- Internationally, she has been centrally involved in the momentum, negotiation and outcome of United Nation’s Post-2015 Development Agenda where she successfully promoted the agenda of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and a group of conflict affected and fragile states.
Haleh’s expertise is in the area of social advocacy, strategic and business planning, governance and compliance, leadership and stakeholder management. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and is an experienced board director. Haleh is on the board of the Community Housing Industry Association Victoria (CHIA Vic), is a board member of Working Heritage and Asylum Seeker Recourse Centre (ASRC).
