Kate has over 25 years experience in policy and program development, strategic planning and project management in health, mental health, housing, disability and children's services. She has worked for the Commonwealth and State Governments and in the community sector. She is most proud of her contributions to the development of community mental health service delivery, and housing and support for people with a mental illness.
Since 2015 Kate has run her own consultancy practice. Her clients include homelessness, mental health, community health and health services. Her work encompasses small research and evaluation projects through to service development. Kate has a commitment to partnership approaches, and facilitation and consultation are key aspects of her service. Currently, much of her work is focused on supporting services to understand and respond to the ever changing service system, including the NDIS.
