AHURI RESEARCH IN PROGRESS
Using ‘real-time’ data to understand housing insecurity
Ashton de Silva, RMIT University
Traditionally, housing researchers have used annual or point-in-time data to investigate socio-economic relationships between housing, labour and welfare markets. Now, day-to-day data in the newly-available DSS DOMINO dataset offers the potential for more real-time risk-insight into these relationships. This project will include an analysis of Commonwealth Rental Assistance recipients.
