We are thrilled to announce that Emma Alberici, leading Australian television journalist, has been confirmed as a key facilitator at the National Housing Conference in Sydney this week.
The presenter of ABC television’s evening news program, Lateline, joins NHC 2017 for two sessions. Emma replaces ABC’s Leigh Sales who has had to step down from her role as facilitator due to work commitments.
Emma is stepping up to the facilitator role in The safe house: the role of housing in domestic and family violence and What’s the (City) Deal with affordable housing?
Emma brings a wealth of journalistic experience in business, economics and finance to the Conference. Prior to her roles with the ABC, Emma completed a cadetship at the Herald Sun Newspaper before spending nine years working as a journalist at the Nine Network.
She gained crucial international journalistic experience as the Europe Correspondent for the ABC based in the UK. As recognition of her insight and talent, Emma has been a finalist three times in the Walkley Awards for Journalistic Excellence.
In addition to her role as a successful journalist, Emma has also authored three editions of The Small Business Book.
We look forward to welcoming Emma to #NHCSydney.
The National Housing Conference 2017 will take place on 29 Nov - 1 Dec at the International Convention Centre, Sydney. Register your attendance.
