Journalist George Megalogenis joins National Housing Conference
Walkley Award winning author joins a strong line-up of leading experts

Walkley Award winning author, journalist and documentary-maker George Megalogenis is joining the National Housing Conference 2017 as a keynote speaker to close out the first day of the program.
With more than three decades’ experience in the Australian media, including 11 years in the Canberra Press Gallery, George brings a wealth of knowledge on big-picture global economic and political trends and will apply that expertise to the housing sector at the Conference.
George’s work examines the political, economic and social history of Australia and his books include Australia’s Second Chance: What our History Tells Us About Our Future, and The Australian Moment, which won the 2013 Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Non-fiction and the 2012 Walkley Award for Non-fiction and formed the basis for his ABC documentary series Making Australia Great.
George is a deeply insightful speaker and his big-picture exploration of economic, political and cultural trends is sure to engage delegates.
