Stan Grant announced as keynote speaker for NHC 2019

The Walkley Award winning journalist joins #NHCDarwin line up

Stan Grant has been announced as a keynote speaker for the National Housing Conference 2019.

Stan is a proud Wiradjuri man who has authored two books; Talking to My Country and Tears of Strangers. His knowledge and experience render him an ideal contributor to the conversation on Indigenous housing and many of the broader political and social challenges facing the housing sector in 2019.

Formerly a co-presenter of SBS World News Australia, Hong Kong correspondent for CNN International, Sky News journalist and Indigenous affairs editor at Guardian Australia, Stan has received a Walkley Award for his legacy in the sector and his coverage of Indigenous affairs.

In his current roles as Professor of Global Affairs at Griffith University and International and Indigenous Affairs Analyst at the ABC, Stan elevates knowledge over opinion in a rapidly changing world.

The biennial National Housing Conference is the largest gathering for the social and affordable housing sectors in Australasia. In 2019 the NHC will be held in Darwin for the first time in its history. Registrations are now live with super saver pricing.
