Case study: What makes case management work for people experiencing homelessness? Evidence for practice
Our client:Homeground Services
The issue:Homelessness service practitioners wished to understand which approaches to case management are most likely to lead to the best outcomes for homeless clients.
Our action:AHURI researchers assessed over 200 sources of empirical evidence and interviewed practitioners in nine homelessness services organisations.
The outcome:the findings from the project were integrated in resource documents for a number of specialist homelessness services and were also published in the peer-reviewed AHURI research.

Case study: Fact sheets for Indigenous Housing and Homelessness
Our client:

Indigenous Housing and Homelessness Policy, Practice and Research Network

The issue:a key role of the Indigenous Housing and Homelessness Policy, Practice and Research Network was to improve transfer of research evidence into policy development or practice change and to share policy and practice experience of what works and why.
Our action:five information fact sheets were developed, covering the topics of homelessness, community land trusts, challenging behaviours, insecure tenancies, and overcrowding.
The outcome:the fact sheets were distributed to stakeholder organisations involved in Indigenous housing and homelessness issues.
