Dr Ian Winter to deliver international keynote at CHRA National Congress

AHURI Policy Development Research Model provides insight for Canada

Ian Winter, Executive Director of AHURI, has been invited to address the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association’s (CHRA) 2017 National Congress in Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 4th, 2017.

Ian will be speaking on the range of activities and roles AHURI has in informing and supporting policy development and practice change in Australia. The AHURI Policy Development Research Model of actively engaging with government, the research network universities and the housing and homelessness practice communities is certainly one that can provide insight and guidelines for other countries.

CHRA address the full range of issues related to affordable housing in Canada, including keeping homes affordable, ending homelessness, renewing communities and supporting a sustainable housing profession. The CHRA congress will convene three days of professional development and engagement and has attracted over 600 delegates.
