AHURI is pleased to announce that the Hon Angus Taylor MP, Assistant Minister for Cities and Digital Transformation, will deliver a keynote plenary address at the next national AHURI conference, Affordability and liveability in our cities.

The Minister’s portfolios stretch across the whole of government to improve city liveability and tackle long standing issues of traffic congestion, housing affordability and the need to create jobs closer to where people live. He has a focus on regional cities and outer suburban cities.

The conference, to be held in Melbourne on Thursday 29 June 2017, will focus on the importance of affordable housing to developing and sustaining productive and liveable cities, and will incorporate the latest AHURI research.
