Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Urban Transitions, Swinburne University of Technology

Margaret Reynolds is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Urban Transitions, Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. She is an experienced data analyst with research interests in affordable private rental housing supply, the geography of homelessness and spatial distributions of disadvantage within different population cohorts. Her main research roles include managing and analysing large and detailed quantitative datasets from a range of sources and time periods. Margaret’s long-term involvement in projects undertaken for AHURI has required a policy-focused approach to a broad range of housing, urban and regional issues across diverse population groups. Recent research themes include affordable rental housing supply, older people’s housing, spatial distributions of homelessness, housing tenure, housing and gender, and socio-economic disadvantage.

Margaret is a guest speaker for the The future of rental affordability webinar.
