AHURI supports evaluation of NSW Together Home Program

21 Feb 2024

AHURI’s in-house consulting team, AHURI Professional Services, in partnership with the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC), University of New South Wales, is undertaking evaluation of the NSW Government’s Together Home Program.

The Together Home Program is a Housing First informed program that has already supported over 1,300 people street-sleeping across NSW into stable accommodation, linked to wraparound support. The model also includes a proportion of high need packages to assist complex clients, an Aboriginal led model in the Central Coast and new housing supply component. The Together Home goal is to transition people onto a trajectory away from homelessness and into long-term stable housing, while improving participants overall personal wellbeing.

The Interim Implementation Report is now available online. The final report is due in June 2024.
