AHURI releases visual report on affordable housing industry capacity
In an exciting first, AHURI and researchers from University of NSW, RMIT University, University of Tasmania and Swinburne University have released findings from the AHURI Inquiry ‘Affordable housing industry capacity’ in an easy-to-understand visual report. The research advances our understanding of Australia’s affordable housing industry and its capacity to expand.
AHURI to advise Australian Government on cities
AHURI Executive Director Dr Ian Winter has been invited by the Australian Government to join a Cities Reference Group to help advise Government on cities policy. Dr Winter joins experts from property, planning, infrastructure, architecture, local government and academia on the specialist reference group.

Federal Treasurer Scott Morrison delivered an hour-long pre-budget address on housing affordability hosted by AHURI at the State Library in Melbourne on Monday 10 April.
